Frank Whitten

 Frank Whitten, performer, director, educator (1942-2011)

Born in New Zealand Frank Whitten came to London in the 60s to study at LAMDA, staying on there as tutor and eventually vice-principal where his students included Harriet Walter, Ian Charleson and Jim Broadbent. He was co-founder with playwright Chattie Salaman of influential West London-based community theatre company Common Stock.
